We set out to create a therapy that combined what has been proven to work and state of the art technology. We have spent eight years developing OHM with the help of doctors, professional athletes and patients with chronic diseases. Like our fingerprints, we are all unique. Medicine is no place to practice and there is rarely a single reason for illness. We have designed a comprehensive plan that leaves no stone unturned.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW TO UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS?

Vagus Nerve
The vagus nerve transports information to the brain on which body systems and organs are out of balance. The brain then sends messages to parts of the body that produce chemicals and hormones needed to bring the body back into balance--homeostasis.

Lympatic System
The lymphatic system cleans the body of toxins.

Overwhelm
With all of the toxins in todays' world (chemicals in our food, every day stressors, air pollution, etc) our lympatic system just can't keep up and it gets clogged.

Sticky Proteins
When this happens sticky proteins are lodged in the spine and interefere with the vagus nerve communiating properly with the brain.

Chemical Confusion
The brain does its job and sends out information to other parts of the body to produces the chemials and hormones needed to bring the body back to balance. BUT.... remember the information the brain got is inorrect, so the messages it sends are incorrect, now the body becomes in disarray and not in balance. This is where dis-ease begins.

OHM Therapy uses biofeedback to create unique and specific therapies based on the patient's body and it biofeedback and bio-signals. This includes EKG, EEG and galvanic response.
OHM Therapy focuses on musculoskeletal and nervous system functions simultaneously. OHM Therapy allows movement of the fascia tissue as well.
OHM Therapy does not use surgery or implants, yet delivers direct current stimulation similar to deep brain stimulation (DBS) used to treat diseases like Parkinson's. Direct current therapies have shown to influence depression and seizure disorders.

OHM Therapy determines what to stimulus to deliver by using the biofeedback patterns generated from electrical measurement tools, like EKG, EEG, and galvanic response.
OHM Therapy uses these patterns in biofeedback to give doctors and patients a real time look at the patients' responses. OHM Therapy then removes the negative patterns from the biofeedback keeping only positive signals for use in therapy for the patient. OHM Therapy uses the patient's own body's positive feedback to tailor care specific to that patient.

WHAT IS OHM THERAPY?
OHM Therapy is a light weight, portable DC stimulation device that uses music coding and biofeedback to deliver one of a kind therapy.
Our bodies are in essence an electrical system. This means that everything from the heart to the muscles of the body are controlled by electrical impulses. Contractions in the skeletal muscle system move lymphatic (lymph) fluid through the smooth muscle system and rid the body of toxins. This is knows as the lymphatic system and is a major component of the immune system.
Without the skeletal muscles contracting, lymph fluid becomes stagnant, and the immune system suffers. OHM Therapy works to move lymphatic fluid through the smooth muscle which assists the lymphatic system in removing toxins from the body.
THE BODY
Neurons are not in direct contact with each other and have and have extremely small space between them called synapses. Because there is not a direct connection, neurons must communicate with each other indirectly through the use of neurotransmitters. This communication is facilitated by the conversion of the electrical signals within the neuron to the chemical signals within the synapse. Communication interferences at the synapse can lead to both temporary and long-term disruptions. These disruptions can be a direct result of chemical imbalances as well as physical harm to the structural components.
OHM Therapy aims to raise dopamine and endorphin production through positive feedback. We believe OHM may be affecting this communicating. Further studies are needed to validate.
